Of the NFL quarterbacks that qualified for our list, Purdy has seen the third largest jump from preseason rankings to this week, going from No. 23 to No. 7 in the NFL, thanks to an average of 19.0 fantasy points per week. Leaguewide, Purdy ranks behind C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans (+24 spots) and Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell (+22 spots) when it comes to the largest gains in rankings, while Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers (+15 spots) and Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys (+6 spots) round out the list.
When broken down solely by fantasy points per game, Purdy’s 19.0 PPG ranks third among the quintet of quarterbacks, behind Prescott (21.2) and Stroud (19.9).
