Themed games are popular among many Major League Baseball fans. So we checked the San Diego Padres’ 2024 Promotions & Events schedule and surveyed Padres fans on Reddit to see what the favorite themed nights were. Based on this survey, Star Wars Weekend is the favorite Padres’ theme night this season with 47% of the votes. This season, the popular theme will take place versus the defending National League champion Arizona Diamondbacks on July 5-7. The series will feature a Star Wars-themed party, drink specials and live music. The final game of the series will include a KidsFest where kids and their parents can meet their favorite Star Wars characters and enjoy photo opportunities before first pitch, which is at 1:10 p.m. Pacific.

The next fan favorite on our list is the Bobblehead Giveaway Nights, which got 31% of the vote. The Padres will feature five bobblehead giveaways during the season including Manny Machado, Joe Musgrove, Xander Bogaerts, Ha-Seong Kim, and Fernando Tatis, Jr.

Bark at the Park days come in third with 12% of the vote. Four Bark at the park days will be held throughout the season. That allows fans to enjoy a Padres game with their favorite dog and will feature a pet item giveaway plus a pregame track walk on Petco Park field.

Based on the blockbuster film and book series, Harry Potter Day (7%) returns for the second straight season on Sept. 2. Fans going to the game (3:40 p.m. against the Detroit Tigers) will receive a Hogwarts House scarf. They will be distributed in opaque, sealed bags and you could receive either a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin scarf based on characters from the popular series.

One of baseball’s true holidays, Memorial Day, rounded out the top five with 3% of the vote. The Padres will host the Miami Marlins on May 27 (3:40 p.m.) and fans will receive a limited-edition themed Padres hat.

Plan, prepare and play ball.

The Padres are +5000 at BetMGM Sportsbook in Arizona to win the World Series, though there are no legal California sportsbook apps; you’ll have to go to a nearby state such as Arizona or Colorado to wager legally.
